The advertised speed rating is based on a 75 meter controlled course conducted in stable weather conditions at a 0 degree incline. The test subject was 150 pounds and a professional longboarder practicing aerodynamics. We used a radar gun to track the speed. We do not guarantee all users will reach the advertised speed as it depends on rider weight, aerodynamics, incline, weather and many other factors. We also do not recommend using GPS phone apps to measure speed due to known GPS accuracy issues.

I am curious how easy the battery is to remove? Thanks
Is there an app or anything associated with the board? also when the battery dies can the board still brake and be pushed like a normal board? what's the main difference between this and the D3M besides speed and connectivity issues?
At the moment there is no app for the board. We plan to incorperate one very soon. When the board dies you can still push it like a regular board. After the board "dies" you still get braking (regenerative) until the battery is completely drained. Then you'll need to manually stop your board. The difference in the Gen 2 are: Bigger wheels (97mm instead of the 90mm on the D3M), A second speed mode allowing speeds upwards of 26mph (The last version "Onyx" and the D3M+ only have one speed maxed at 18-20mph), Newly designed removable PU casings for the hub motors Of which a second set are included with the Gen 2, A skate tool will now be included as well as an adaptor that allows you to chare your battery outside of board and don't forget the next Gen will ship with Bones Swiss bearings installed.
When does this come out
They will start shipping to everyone that pre-ordered between the dates of October 15-22
Will there be a swappable battery for the skateboard? If so then when will you start selling it?
Our boards all have fast swappable batteries. The Gen 2 starts shipping to customers between Oct 15th and 22nd.
Is this new gen 2 onyx board same as the new kooboard?
Ours will include Bones Swiss bearings and custom wheels that display the size and hardness.
Also ours will be backed by our US based customer support and warranty repair facilities.
How's the flex on the board? Does free riding down hill cause the board to slow down because of the motors in the wheel? And does the remote shake or give a signal to warn the rider about low battery?
The board has little to no flex. There is a small amount of resistence from the motors while free riding but you will not feel it going downhill. Yes the remote vibrates to notifiy low battery.
Is this board water resistant? How do I access the Onyx D3X Gen 2's second speed mode? Many youtube reviewers say you have to hit the power button 7 times
Yes it is! Also with this new generation the second mode is accessed by clicking the remote button 5 times.
hello. I live in east coast of Canada and was wondering if you guys can ship it out here. nova scotia(province) to be exact please let me know! thanks
Does the light on the board itself stay red or does it turn green when fully charged?
The light on this model stays red.
